Challah makes a delicious french toast but the chocolate challah just takes this dish to a whole other level of amazing.

Method of Preparation

Crack the 3-4 eggs into a large bowl (wide enough to dip the bread into) along with the 1/2 cup of milk. Whisk eggs and milk together creating a homogenous mixture. Place a frying pan on the stove and turn to medium-low heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter and melt. Take 1 slice of the chocolate challah and dip both sides into the bowl with the egg and milk mixture. Place one side of the bread face down into the frying pan and cook until golden brown. Flip the bread and cook the opposite side until golden brown. Continue cooking each slice of bread until the loaf is finished. Serve warm with the Strawberry, Rhubarb, Blueberry Sauce. (See link above that will take you to a previous post.) Optional: Garnish with whipped cream.

Enjoy!
