Citrusy Dill Salmon

Salmon takes center stage in this healthy and nutrient packed recipe and is perfect for your next weeknight dinner. Baked salmon is rich in protein, omega-3s, and high in B vitamins! Did we mention this dish is easy to make and from prep time to table is only 45 minutes? Our ingredients list is minimal and the dill, garlic oil, and citrus lends to a well balanced and flavorful fish. Layered with lemon and orange slices imparting a delicate, citrusy flavor, you’ll want this to become your go to weeknight meal. Just top off with some sprigs of fresh dill and a hint of Hawaiian coral salt for the perfect finishing touches to this dish.

Citrusy Dill Salmon

Description

The perfect weeknight meal that’s healthy, incredibly tasty, and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb of Norwegian Salmon (thick cut side) (4 ounces per person)
  • 1 navel orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon garlic oil
  • 12 sprigs fresh dill 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Hawaiian coral course salt

Instructions

  1. Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons garlic olive oil on a large baking tray covered with aluminum foil or a silicone baking mat.
  2.  Lay the salmon on the baking tray (skin side down) and drizzle with remaining olive oil. 
  3. Arrange thinly sliced orange and lemon pieces on top. See photo for placement.
  4. Next layer on sprigs of fresh dill on top of the orange and lemon slices.
  5. Finish off with a sprinkling of Hawaiian coral course salt
  6. Bake in a preheated 350F degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately. 

Notes

Basmati rice is a wonderful accompaniment to the salmon as well as our roasted asparagus
